Grape Variety: Sangiovese,Cabernet Sauvignon
Alcohol: 13.5% Vol
Vinification: The grapes are fermented separately in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, as they have different ripening times. After the malolactic fermentation in steel, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon are assembled and left to mature in medium-aged French oak tonneaux for a minimum period of eight months. After bottling, Carmignano remains in bottle for further eight months.
Colour: Intense ruby red.
Bouquet: Good aromatic complexity of red fruits such as morello cherry, and spicy notes.
Taste: Harmonic and structured body with evident but soft and elegante tannins, with hints of red berries and spices.
