Grape Variety: Primitivo
Alcohol: 16% Vol
Vinification: Sonetto is made from Primitivo grapes harvested by hand from 50-90 year-old vineyards planted in Puglia with "ad alberello" methods. The vinification is done and with the grapes harvested in the mid-September. The maceration takes 3 weeks,while the thermo-controlled alcoholic fermentation lasts at 25℃.The wine then is trasferred into French oak barriques (Allier) for 24 months' ageing. Unfiltered wine, the possible presence of sediments is natural.

Bouquet:Very ripe and intense nose;ripe blackberry and plum, a hint of smoke combined with spicy notes of tabacco and leather
Taste: Velvety on the palate, full-bodied, rich and balanced, characterized by a long spicy finish. Alcohol is well supported by perfect acidity and refined tannins.
