Grape Variety: Sangiovese,Merlot,Malvasia Nera
Alcohol: 13% Vol
Vinification:The different grapes are picked up manually and seperately from the end of September til the beginning of October. The vinification was induced by indigenous yeasts and separated by variety in steel tanks at controlled temperature between 30-33℃,with manual pumping over with a total stay (cuvaison) of 25 days for Sangiovese, 27 days for Merlot and 26 for Malvasia Nera. After racking, the wine underwent malolactic fermentation in barriques. At the end of the malolactic fermentation, the assembly of the three varieties took place. Subsequently the wine is passed in fine-grained oak barriques,22% new for about 12 months.
Colour: Bright red
Bouquet: What first strikes you about the nose is that it offers all the purest fruit expressions: blackcurrants, orange and lemon rind, brambleberries, heather, sage, thyme and blackberry leaves.
Taste: Soft and fresh on the palate which gives way to tannins that are very present and of good power but very harmonious, persistent. The fruit is carried through to the long, chewy finish by the highly refreshing acidity.
