Grape Variety: Montepulciano, Primitivo, Sangiovese, Negroamaro, Malvasia Nera

 

Alcohol content: 14%Vol

 

Vinification: Soft stalk-stripping. The grapes are left to dry on the plant and the harvest starts 1 months later. Fermentation in the cellar takes place in barriques for 30 days followed by 18 months maturation in the same oak.

 

Colour: deep garnet red

 

Bouquet: Very intense and persistent with notes of cherry and blackcurrant, herbs, cinnamon, cloves, cocoa, liquorice and hints of mineral.

 

Taste: Great structure, good balance between alcohol and freshness, velvety tannins, very persistent with a long finish, ready to drink, or can well be aged for long.
